By using Desq Long you accept these terms. They are short because the service is narrow: it republishes public federal disclosure records and links to the original of every claim it makes.
What this is
A publisher of public records
Desq Long composes factual cards from three public sources — SEC Form 4 filings, congressional Periodic Transaction Reports, and federal prime award transactions published to USAspending.gov. Every card states what the document says, when the event happened, when it became public, and where to read the document yourself. About the data describes each source and its limits.
The posture
Not investment advice
Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and nothing here is an offer or solicitation. Desq Long publishes no ranking of good or bad, no sentiment, and no view about any company or any person. Figures such as an estimated excess return are measurements computed by a published method over public price data; they describe what happened after a disclosed transaction and predict nothing. Decisions you make with this information are yours alone, and you should not rely on this site as your only source.
Accuracy
Sources, errors and corrections
The records come from the SEC, the U.S. House Clerk, the U.S. Senate and USAspending.gov, with market prices and company profiles from a third-party data provider. We publish what those sources state, including their mistakes. When a source corrects itself we publish the correction beside the original rather than editing it — see the corrections policy. Where a source is silent, the site says so rather than filling the gap.

We may change, suspend or withdraw it, and we may change these terms; the current version is always the one on this page. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site or from reliance on anything published here.
You may read, link to and quote this site, including with the citation format. The underlying records are public documents. Please do not use automated access in a way that degrades the service for other readers.
