1. What Desq Long is. Desq Long publishes impersonal equity research: per-ticker due-diligence reports, watchlists, calendars, and digests. The same report content is available to every subscriber at a given tier. Desq Long is a publisher of research, not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary. Nothing on this service is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and nothing is personalized to your financial situation.
2. No recommendations. Reports, tags, digests, and alerts are factual and analytical. They do not tell you to buy, sell, or hold anything. Investment decisions and their consequences are yours alone. Securities involve risk, including total loss.
3. Data and accuracy. Content derives from public filings (SEC EDGAR), licensed market data, and our own analysis. We work hard on accuracy and show provenance and data-freshness on figures, but we do not warrant that content is complete, current, or error-free. Market data may be delayed and is labeled accordingly.
4. Accounts and tiers. Features are gated by subscription tier as described on the plans page. Report unlocks are account-keyed and cover all future versions of that ticker's report. You are responsible for your account credentials. One person per account; no scraping, reselling, redistributing, or programmatic bulk access outside the documented API tier.
5. Subscriptions and billing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues through the paid period. Prices may change with notice effective at the next renewal. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
6. Research credits. Credits trigger generation of a new report, which enters the shared library. Credit generation costs are incurred immediately on execution (see Refund Policy). Credits expire 12 months after purchase.
7. Intellectual property. Reports and site content are ours or our licensors'. Personal, non-commercial use only; brief quotation with attribution is fine, republication is not.
8. Acceptable use. No unlawful use, no interference with the service, no misrepresentation of our content as personalized advice from us.
9. Disclaimers and liability. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR TRADING OR INVESTMENT LOSSES.
10. Changes and termination. We may update these terms with notice; the "last updated" date governs. We may suspend accounts violating these terms.
